Essential Visa Information
Visas are required for entry to Oman except for visitors from GCC countries. All applicants must apply for a visa through the Royal Oman Police’s eVisa portal at
 https://evisa.rop.gov.om

 A valid passport is required that remains as such for at least 6 months from the date of arrival in Oman.
Visa Policy for Entry into Oman
All visitors to Oman are required to obtain a visa unless they are citizens of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, who may enter without a visa.
In an effort to promote tourism, Oman has extended visa facilitation to citizens of over 100 countries. Eligible travelers may either apply for an eVisa in advance or obtain a visa on arrival, depending on their nationality and residency status.
These eligible countries are categorized into two groups:
Group 1 : Visa-Free for 14 Days
Citizens from the following countries can enter Oman without a visa for stays up to 14 days:

- Argentina
- Australia
- Austria

- Brunei

Group 2 : Conditional Visa-Free Entry
Citizens from the following countries are also exempt for stays up to 14 days, provided they have a valid visa or residence permit from the USA, Canada, Australia, the UK, Schengen countries, or are residents of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries with approved professions:
